THE CALL

Have you read that book by Rick Joyner; it’s a great book isn’t it. Well that’s not what this is all about. There are times we really get overly enthusiastic about ‘Lord what is my calling’ what is that one thing I was born to do.

Motivational speakers will say we are all wired up for something and then we cry ‘what is it Lord?’
In truth there is that call, that niche that you would definitely thrive in, but its also very true it doesn’t always come ‘just like that’.

There are times we must learn to follow it one step at a time and this demands us in the light of eventual success to be completely committed to whatever we find, doing it diligently, isn’t there a scripture about diligent men standing before great men.

God has placed us in space and time and determined the times set for us and the exact places where we should live (paraphrase Acts17: 26)

David was promised the throne, but he had to wait 30yrs to get there. As you get up early every morning joining the ‘rat race’ and just wondering why this should keep on going or can I put a stop to all this and define my life.

At least love what you do and endeavor to be really good at it while you search within and at the same time seeking opportunities without.

You were truly born to do great things, Martin Luther King Jr said, ‘If a man is called to be a street sweeper, he should sweep streets even as Michelangelo painted, or Beethoven composed
music, or Shakespeare wrote poetry. He should sweep streets so well that all the host of heaven and earth will pause to say; here lived a great street sweeper who did his job well.

And indeed you’ll find fulfillment in it. Love life and fulfill destiny.
